Pretty Good for the Price

I actually bought this toothbrush so I could have a cheap Electric toothbrush to take on vacation. For the price I paid I certainly think it will do its job.
Pros:
Inexpensive (about $30 at Walmart)
Easy to travel with
Timer (2 min only no intervals)
Cons:
Timer does not give 30 sec intervals just a 2 minute one.
No charging indicator light

So you can't open a box, what does this have to do with the product?
Basically for under $30 is this tooth brush a great deal or average, or what issue is disappointing...
So far I found most people say it is a great deal and much (3x) better than manual...

I liked the toothbrush until my toothbrush got an orangish tint...i took the replaceable brush head off and realized that the metal part (vibrating part) rusted... very disappointed.

Both my husband and I have the oral B electric precision toothbrushes. After a month, both stopped working within a week of each other. Got them replaced by retailer and today my husband's has stopped working again bearly a month after getting replacement. Absolutely fed up. Have no confidence in them now. WHEN it works it is good.

I have had this brush for almost ten years now and absolutely love it, best 20 bucks ive spent. Totally compares to 100$ brushes.....looking for a new one as after almost ten years the charge gets a weak after 2 or three days without plugging in and I cant complain about that.

Hi. Thank you for your review. I'm curious if changes to design/manufacturing were made since 10 years ago. So many of the reviews for newer purchases describe quite a few problems which I wonder are the result of cheaper manufacturing. I know you probably are unable to answer my inquiry, but if you know where it was manufactured (USA???) at the time, it would be helpful. Thanks so much for your time.

Question?

I've had this toothbrush for I want to say 3 years. The best toothbrush ever. Recently it has stopped working all together and I would like a replacement. I don't know why it has stopped but while I was brushing it just died. When it was working, if you hold the base up to your ear you can hear a slight buzzing sound, but when it died I thought it just needed charging. I was wrong. When I put my ear up to the base there was no sound. I charged it for 1 whole day and still nothing. I'm just glad I had a manual toothbrush to brush my teeth. I really like this toothbrush and don't want to get a different one unless its exactly like this one. If you guys have a toothbrush like this one please recommend it to me so I can get a new one. Please contact me and help. Thanks!

Not what I was looking for

I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for my Sonic Care toothbrush that served me well for several years. I purchased the Vitality from Walmart for about $30. The timer is 2 mins but it doesn't signal every 30 secs like the Sonic Care. I don't care much for the round brush heads; they feel too much like the dentist brush. This could be remedied by purchasing standard size heads. There is no charge indicator on this model.
I would recommend this brush if you are going from a manual or power to an electric but not if you are replacing an electric.
