Didn't work straight from the box

I got this as a gift and was very excited to plug it in and try it out. I plugged the toothbrush in and left it over night only to be disappointed that it didn't charge AT ALL. My friend also has the same tooth brush and I tried my brush on her stand and it began to charge. From this I can only imagine that it came with a faulty charger. After reading other reviews I am concerned this is not an isolated incident.

Worset Product and Costom Service I've ever tried

I bought this from amazon on July 15th and started to use it around Aug 1st. It worked great at first. After two chareg,however, the battery died completely. I called CS and they offer no help. The only choice is I send this toothbrush to a service cener nearby. And by nearby, P&G means over 300 miles away!
I would not take this trouble for a toothbrush. So after more waiting and more redirecting, P&G offers to ship this item back and replace it.
I spend the entire morning arguing with P&G and were frustructed. I have never spent so much time and engry on a toothbrush!

LED got moisture tempered & Not WORKING

ISSUE 1: After 2nd month using this toothbrush,the LED indicator screen started to act weird, sometimes no display, sometimes showing only the indicator for disabled radio signal.
ISSUE 2: The LED went from showing 3 battery bars to no display, and went dead in the middle of my brushing. I left the toothbrush in the charge station and checked on it hours later. it is still unresponsive, nothing on the LED screen on the brush.
Until now, I realized it is a designing fault from Oralb because I am also experiencing the same problem.

This electric toothbrush is great! My teeth feel super clean everytime I use it - and the timer truly makes me brush the full 2 minutes! Highly recommended!

Love my Trimph!

This is my second Oral B power toothbrush (before this I had the 3000 series) and by far the most superior. I love the power of this toothbrush, and after using it for around 6 months, I can say that my teeth are the whitest they've ever been from brushing. The clock/timer makes a great addition to the bathroom and the stand the toothbrush comes with is small enough to take up minimal space. I love my Triumph and am completely satisfied with my purchase.
I was lucky enough to catch the toothbrush when Oral B had a promotion for 50% off the purchase price as a mail in rebate. I purchased it on amazon and ended up spending about $55 on it after all was said & done. Score!!!

Bad Design, Poor Customer Service

Great brush when it worked. After 1 month of use, noticed moisture in LCD display and rust inside sealed battery compartment. After unacceptable & frustrating support call with OralB, procuct was repaired and returned after 2 weeks. Returned product will now not synchronise with timer, as per manual and no further information can be found on-line. Bad experience - would not recommend.

broke by the 5th month

this is my second oral B brush. i loved the 1st one, but it was time to get a new one. it was a wonderful past 4 months using this toothbrush, i was so happy. then by the 5th month, the LED screen started to act weird, sometimes no display, sometimes showing only the indicator for disabled radio signal.

I am very pleased with my SmartSeries 5000 electric toothbrush. I have been using it for over two months now with no problem. I bet most people brush their teeth in under 1 minute. The timer is a great feature. Keeps you aware to brush for a full 2 minutes. Brushing modes are nice too.

Disappointed about its reliability and design

Bought two of this product for my kids about 9 months ago. After every brush, you have to wash this tooth brush completely or it will build up toothpaste mark on the surface you put this toothbrush. Now after 9 months usage, one of the toothbrush is starting to control both smart guides - its running time shows up on both smart guides, which prevents the smart guide showing the running time of the other toothbrush.

I got this toothbrush yesterday. Used it twice and all I have to say is it rocks! My teeth really do feel like I have just been at the dentist. Even that space behind my bottom front teeth feels clean. It is such a hard place to get at, but the round head is the perfect size (one of the reasons I didn't go with the other guys... the shape of the brush head).
After reading other reviews and the problems people were having, I am glad to know that customer service is on top of any issues one may have with their products. Here's hoping I don't have any.
ps. I did find your instruction manual a little hard to follow/understand. It wasn't clear on some things. Had to do a bit of trial and error.

Not the "Best product I've ever tried!"

Toothbrush worked great for first couple of weeks. Toothbrush now will not vibrate every 30 seconds (vibrates only after 2 or 3 minutes). I have looked through the oral-b site for a user manual to see if this is a setting I may have accidentally changed but no manual provided; if there is one then it is not easily accessed by simply looking through the site links like most other manufacturer's websites do. Called customer support who has very limited hours for such a large company. Will be going back to Sonicare based on the poor performance of this toothbrush.
